Pulwama, Aug 28: A woman was injured after she was attacked by a bear in Midoora area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
The woman, identified as Fatima, a resident of Midoora, sustained injuries in the attack.
She was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tral for medical treatment.
People alleged that despite bringing the presence of bear into the notice of Wildlife Department, no action was taken to trap it. [KNT]
