Uri, May 16: A 49-year-old woman died after being allegedly hit by a bus in the Limber area of Boniyar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Officials told GNS that the accident involved a bus bearing registration number JK01B-4447. The deceased has been identified as Naseema Begum, wife of Abdul Raziq Najar, a resident of Limber Boniyar.
Officials said the woman sustained serious injuries in the incident and was immediately shifted to PHC Sheeri for treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead.
A senior police officer confirmed the incident to GNS and said a case has been registered to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident. (GNS)
