Srinagar, February 7(GNS): A mentally unstable woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle at Hiller area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Officials told GNS that a Tavera vehicle (JK03D-2811), driven by Reyaz Ahmad, son of Abdul Sardar Bhat, a resident of Nala Suinbari, hit a mentally unstable woman while coming from Vailoo towards Anantnag this evening.
The lady was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag, where she succumbed to her injuries. The deceased lady has been identified as Fatima Banoo(46) wife of Ab Rehman Malik resident of Dahruna Dooru.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
