Anantnag, Aug 10 (GNS): A 2-year-old boy died after drowning in a river at Sansooma Achabal area of Anantnag on Sunday. His body was later retrieved by locals.
Officials told GNS that a search operation was launched by local residents immediately after the drowning incident was reported at Sansooma Achabal.
The deceased has been identified as Abuzar, son of Ishtiyaq Ahmad, resident of Sansooma Achabal, Anantnag.
The body was later handed over to the local police for legal formalities.(GNS)
