Bandipora, Apr 26 (GNS): A 16-year-old boy’s body was recovered near a water canal located in Kaloosa Village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Official sources told GNS that a body of a local boy was spotted by some local passerby near water cannal Kaloosa, adding accordingly they informed the police.
Police team later reached the spot and recovered the body, they said. They identified the deceased as Umer Farooq Mir, 16, son of Farooq Ahmad Mir, a resident of Dachigam Bandipora.
Meanwhile, police have initiated legal proceedings under relevant sections of law. (GNS)
