New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday declared the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) 2026 held on May 25, enabling successful candidates to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination.
The Commission has published the roll number-wise list of qualified candidates on its official websites, upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. Along with the results, the final answer key of the Preliminary Examination has also been released.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their qualifying status by downloading the roll number-wise PDF available on the UPSC website.
To access the result, candidates should visit the official website, click on the “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026 Result” link and download the PDF containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
The final answer key can also be downloaded by visiting the UPSC website and selecting the relevant link under the examination section.
The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the UPSC for recruitment to various prestigious services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others.
Candidates have been advised to visit the official UPSC websites regularly for further updates regarding the Civil Services Main Examination 2026, including the schedule for submission of the Detailed Application Form (DAF) and other important notifications.
