Srinagar, Oct 09 (GNS): The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir for the next 10 days.
An official of MeT told GNS that weather is expected to remain generally dry with brief spell of light rain at few places towards late night on October 9.
On October 10, it will be generally cloudy with light rain (light snow over higher reaches) at scattered to many places.
Weather will remain generally dry on October 11-12.
On October 13-14, generally cloudy weather with light rain (light snow over higher reaches)/ thunder/ gusty winds is expected at many places.
On October 15, weather will be generally dry with brief spell of light rain at few places, while October 16-18 is expected to remain generally dry.
The MeT has advised farmers to continue harvesting and safe storage of harvested Apple and Paddy.
It also said there is possibility of thunder/gusty winds during October 10 and October 13-14.(GNS)
