DSEJ Directs Immediate Detachment of Teachers from CEO, ZEO Offices

Jammu, Jan 7 : The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has issued fresh instructions regarding the deployment of teaching staff in education department offices.

As per the circular issued by Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC stated that, It has come to the notice of the undersigned that, despite clear instructions issued from time to time, the services of teaching staff are still being utilized for office work in the offices of Chief Education Officers and Zonal Education Officers.

It is reiterated that teaching staff are meant exclusively for academic duties and shall not be engaged in any kind of office or clerical work in CEO/ZEO offices or any other administrative setup.

Accordingly, it is hereby impressed upon all the CEOs and ZEOs to relieve all such teaching staff forthwith, who are presently working in their offices and ensure their immediate reporting back to their respective place of posting.

Further, the Drawing and Disbursing Officers concerned are hereby directed to stop the salary of such teaching staff with immediate effect in case of non-compliance of these instructions.

Any deviation or failure to comply with these directions shall be viewed seriously and may invite disciplinary action under the relevant rules. (KNC)
