Srinagar, Aug 25 (GNS): A fire incident was reported at the Corporate Headquarters of J&K Police Housing Corporation in Peerbagh area of Srinagar on Monday, resulting in damage to three rooms.
Officials told GNS that flames broke out on the fourth floor of the building housing the corporation’s headquarters.
Soon after, teams of Fire and Emergency Services department rushed to the spot and doused the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to other floors.
Three rooms on the fourth floor suffered damage in the incident. No loss of life or injury has been reported.
The cause of fire is being ascertained. (GNS)
