Srinagar, Sep 2 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered promotion of 11 Inspectors (General Cadre) as Deputy Superintendents of Police (General Cadre).
According to Government Order issued by Home Department, sanction has been accorded to the promotion of these officers in the Pay Level-8 (47600-151100) with immediate effect.
Those promoted include Sheikh Azad (PID ARP985554), Imtiyaz Ahmad (ARP985553), Bashir Ahmad (ARP985435), Mohd Amin (ARP985496), Mohd Alyas Malik (ARP981649), Sanjeev Kumar (ARP983931), Mohd Farooq (ARP985494), Bahar Ahmad (ARP981680), Mushtaq Ahmad (ARP985555), Mir Riyaz Ahmad (ARP983609) and Faroog Ahmad (ARP984121).
The promotions shall be subject to the outcome of any writ petition(s), if any, pending before any competent Court of Law, the order added.(GNS)
