Jammu, Oct 7 (GNS): The Health and Medical Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday reconstituted the committee set up to enquire into the death of a patient in Jammu.

According to Government Order, a copy of which lies with GNS, the government has made partial modification in its earlier Government Order No. 273-JK(HME) of 2026 dated 07-04-2026.

As per the order, Dr. Narinder Bhatyal, Chief Medical Officer, Jammu has replaced Dr. Harbaksh Singh, the then CMO Jammu, while Dr. (Prof.) Rajesh Mahajan, HoD Anaesthesia, Government Medical College Jammu has replaced Dr. Anita Vig, who has attained superannuation.

The order states that remaining contents of the earlier Government Order shall remain unchanged.

The order has been issued by order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.(GNS)
