Srinagar, June 19:(GNS) Forest department officials seized 49-kilograms of illicit Minor Forest Produce (MFP) from a vehicle during a special naka in Anantnag district of south Kashmir. “On a tip of information received from a reliable source DFO Anantnag Feroz Ahmad Chaket alongwith his special team laid a naka at Panchalthal Kuthar,” a senior officer of the department told GNS on Friday.
“A vehicle carrying 49kgs of illicit MFP was intercepted by the naka team and was seized on spot, the officer said. The investigation has been taken up for further course of action, the officer added. (GNS)
