July 08: Youth Civil Society Kashmir, in collaboration with Handwara Police, is organizing ‘Josh-e-Watan’ Volleyball Championship in the memory of brave martyr DySP Shri Humayun Muzammil Bhat. The championship will be held from tomorrow, July 9, 2025, at the Indoor Sports Stadium Handwara.
A total of 08 volleyball teams from across Kashmir Valley, including players of national repute, will participate in this prestigious event. The championship aims to honor the supreme sacrifice of Martyr DySP Shri Humayun Muzammil Bhat while promoting sportsmanship, youth engagement, and unity.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of civil society and law enforcement to encourage positive development of youth through sports and to keep alive the memory of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The youth of the region are cordially invited to attend in the event to make it a grand success.
