Udhampur, Mar 10 (KNC): The Chief Education Office Udhampur has issued a circular directing teachers not to use mobile phones during classroom teaching hours, stating that the practice adversely affects the teaching learning process and disturbs the academic environment in schools.

According to the circular, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, all Principals, Headmasters and Zonal Education Officers of the district have been instructed to ensure that teachers refrain from using mobile phones inside classrooms during teaching hours.

The authorities have also been asked to strictly monitor compliance in their respective institutions, clusters and zones, warning that any violation of the instructions will be viewed seriously and dealt with as per rules. (KNC)
