Officers to Coordinate with Visiting Dignitaries; Briefing Scheduled for October 6
JAMMU, OCTOBER 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed 60 officers as Liaison Officers to coordinate with visiting dignitaries during the upcoming Global Capability Centers (GCC) Summit, scheduled to be held on October 9 and 10, 2026, at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu.
The appointments have been approved by the General Administration Department (GAD) through Government Order No. 1595-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated October 2, 2026. The order was issued following a reference from the Labour and Employment Department dated September 30, 2026.
According to the government order, the appointed officers have been drawn from various departments and field formations across Jammu division. Their responsibilities will include liaison and coordination with visiting dignitaries in connection with the GCC Summit.
Among the officers appointed are Anil Kumar, Assistant Director, Estates, Jammu; Amit Singh Manhas, Under Secretary, Culture Department; Joni Kumar, Functional Manager, DIC Kathua; Waqar Talib, Under Secretary, Power Development Department; Dr. Neha Sharma, Administrative Officer, Government Medical College Jammu; Punika Pandita, CDPO (Hqr) in the Mission Director, ICDS; Ranbireshwar Singh Jamwal, CDPO Dansal; and Bhawani Atri, Deputy Registrar (Agri.) Cooperative Societies, Jammu.
The list also includes officers from the Excise, Handicrafts, Social Welfare, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Finance, Tribal Affairs, Industries and Commerce, Irrigation and Flood Control, Employment, GST and other departments.
The appointed liaison officers include Prateek Panjathia, Rupali Mahajan, Sonika Parihar, Rohit Kashyap, Virender Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Mohd. Arshad, Trikansh Bhushan, Inzar Ahmad Rana, Akshar Kotwal, Tanvi Gupta, Raman Jandyal, Ankit Gupta, Sahil Mahajan, Noreen Choudhary, Anurag Sharma and Jatinder Pal Singh, among others.
The order further names officers including Madhur Anand, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Jammu; Pallvi Sharma, CDPO Satwari; Neeraj Kumar Bhargav, Information Officer Udhampur; Nishtha Nayyar, Deputy Registrar (Agri.) Cooperative Societies Udhampur; Sachin Sharma, CDPO Bishnah; Shashank Padha, Under Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department; Uttam Singh Palsar, Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission; and Manoj Raina, BDO Suchetgarh.
Other officers appointed include Jagdeep Singh, Monish Kumar, Sushil Singh, Lekha Bhasin, Ankur Kalotra, Sahil Angral, Abhilash Sharma, Manish Sudan, Sahil Abrol, Disha Gupta, Akshay Sharma, Sachin Abrol, Dheeraj Vishavnathbhim Bahadur, Azhar Khan, Ratandeep Sharma and Nidhi Kralia.
The remaining officers include Abhilove Mahajan, Kunal Singh, Chetan Sharma, Ekshu Sharma, Suraj Parkash, Zahoor Din, Suryavanshi Manish Bhagat, Ujwal Singh Sambyal, Kashish Sharma, Viplove Sudan and Antriksh Jamwal, taking the total number of appointed liaison officers

The GCC Summit at IIM Jammu is scheduled for October 9–10, with the deployment of the 60 liaison officers intended to facilitate coordination with visiting dignitaries throughout the programme.(KNC)
