SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on Tuesday postponed the OMR-based written examinations for the posts of Sanitary Inspector and Junior Ophthalmic Technician under the Health and Medical Education Department by one day.
According to a notice issued by the JKSSB, the examinations advertised under Notification No. 07 of 2025, originally scheduled for July 8, 2026, have now been rescheduled to July 9, 2026 (Thursday).
The Board said the examination for the post of Sanitary Inspector will be held in Shift-I from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while the examination for the post of Junior Ophthalmic Technician will be conducted in Shift-II from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
It further clarified that only the date of the examination has been changed and the timings as well as examination venues will remain unchanged.
JKSSB also informed candidates that the admit cards already issued shall remain valid for the examinations on the rescheduled date and no fresh admit cards will be required. (JKNS)
