Sopore, May 2: To ensure the smooth and hassle-free conduct of the NEET-UG 2025 examination scheduled for Sunday, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sopore has ordered the temporary closure of the Sunday market in the town on the day of the examination.
The move, as per the Kashmir Bulletin (KB), is aimed at minimizing traffic congestion and creating a conducive environment for candidates appearing in the highly competitive examination.
In addition, the administration has made dedicated car parking arrangements near the examination centres to facilitate smooth movement and access for students and accompanying persons.
The ADC has appealed to the general public, particularly vendors and shopkeepers, to cooperate with the administration in maintaining order and supporting the examination process.
Authorities have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the guidelines on the day of the examination.(KB)
