Schools within Srinagar Municipal limits to operate from 8:30 to 2:30pm
Srinagar, May 22 The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced revised school timings for all Government and recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from May 26, 2025, as per a fresh order issued on Thursday.
As per an official order issued by DSEK a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will now operate from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, while schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of Kashmir Province will follow the timing of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The order states that these instructions must be strictly followed by all concerned educational institutions and that any deviation will be viewed seriously. (JKNS)
