SRINAGAR, JUNE 12: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has refuted media reports communicated by some media outlets that the Syllabus and courses of study have been changed for 9th to 12th classes.
In a clarification issued by Director Academics, the J&K BOSE has clarified that there is no change in the curriculum or courses of study for the ongoing academic sessions. However, the syllabus of Punjabi, Physical Education and Functional English has been updated for class 11th for which J&K BOSE has timely issued notification in March, 2026 well before the start of Academic Session, it added.
The BOSE maintained that the syllabus of Environmental Science and Education subjects for class 12th has also been updated and notification to that effect has been issued in early March, 2026 for intimation of all the concerned stakeholders.
