New Delhi, June 19 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday issued a clarification regarding the NEET UG 2026 admit cards, advising candidates that those who have already downloaded the revised admit cards for the June 21 examination need not download them again.

According to the NTA, SMS, email and WhatsApp notifications being sent to candidates are primarily intended for those students who have not yet downloaded their new admit cards. The agency said the messages should not create confusion among candidates who have already obtained the updated hall tickets.

The NTA further clarified that the admit cards issued earlier for the May 3 examination will no longer be valid, as several candidates have now been allotted new examination centres in their preferred cities following revisions made by the agency.

Candidates have been instructed to download and print the revised admit card issued for the June 21 NEET UG 2026 examination. The agency emphasized that downloading the updated admit card once is sufficient and there is no need for repeated downloads.

The clarification comes amid confusion among aspirants after many candidates received fresh notifications despite already possessing the revised admit cards.

The NTA urged all candidates to carefully verify their examination centre details and carry the updated admit card to the examination venue on the day of the test to avoid any inconvenience.(KNC)
