Kishtwar, Aug 28 (GNS): Authorities at District Hospital Kishtwar have terminated the services of a sanitation worker immediately after his arrest in connection with the death of a minor girl following forced sexual assault and an illegal abortion in Chatroo area of Kishtwar.

Officials told GNS that the sanitation worker, working on a contractual basis at the hospital, was among those arrested by police during investigation of the case which has triggered widespread outrage in the area.

The Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar, confirmed that following the worker’s involvement coming to fore and his subsequent arrest by police, his services have been terminated with immediate effect.
