Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo participated in morning prayer at Higher Secondary School Kokernag and shared the joy of school opening with children.
07 March:On the reopening of schools after winter vacations, Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G. N. Itoo today participated in morning prayer during the morning assembly of Government Model Higher Secondary School Kokernag in a remote area of Anantnag district and shared the joy of school opening with the children. On this occasion, the Director School Education Kashmir spoke to the children in their mother tongue and inquired about various activities during the winter vacations.
DSEK addressed the teachers and asked them to equip the children with moral education and become role models for the children to keep the surrounding environment clean and protect water bodies.
Dr. G.N. Itoo urged the teachers to provide awareness to the children about the harmful effects of drugs especially on Wednesdays in view of the current challenges of the society and to play their full role in character building of the children.
DSEK emphasized that children should use mobile phones properly so that they do not have negative effects on their minds.
