Body Trapped In Nalla After Fatal Fall, SDRF Called For Recovery

Srinagar, Aug 23(GNS):A man died after he fell from a hillside while cutting a tree in Upper Mohura area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
Officials told GNS that Aziz Tantray, son of Subhan Tantray, resident of Upper Mohura, was cutting a tree when he fell down the hillside and sustained fatal injuries. He died on the spot.
Soon after, a police party from Police Station Uri reached the spot and launched rescue/recovery operation.
A senior police officer said the body has fallen a considerable distance down the hillside into a nalla, making recovery difficult.
“With the help of drone we have located the body. It is difficult to recover the body from the nalla, so we have called SDRF for the task,” the officer said.
Recovery operation was going on when reports last came in.(GNS)
