Srinagar, Jul 10: The University of Kashmir on Friday announced a 10-day summer vacation for its teaching departments at the main campus and all off-site campuses from July 24 to August 2, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the summer vacation will be observed from July 24 to August 2 by all teaching departments of the University, including those at off-site campuses.
The University, however, clarified that the Heads, Directors and Coordinators of Departments, Off-site Campuses and Centres shall ensure that their offices continue to function as per routine during the vacation period.
The notice further stated that examinations, wherever scheduled, along with all other academic and administrative activities, shall be conducted as per the notified timetable without any interruption.
