Kupwara, Sep 05 (GNS): At least four persons received injuries in a bear attack at Lalpora of Lolab area in the district on Saturday afternoon.Reports reaching GNS said that the incident happened as a wild bear ventured into the human settlement area from a nearby forest.In the incident, as per reports, four persons have received injuries. Two of them (injured persons) identified as Faisal Ahmad Ganaie (18) from Darpora and Sajad Ahmad Mir (26) from Lalpora have received injuries face and foot injuries respectively and were hospitalised.The other two persons have received minor injuries and were discharged after receiving first-aid treatment, reports said.
Meanwhile after hectic efforts by Wildlife Department assisted by locals the beast was tranquilized later on. (GNS)
