Ramban, Nov 3: A driver was killed and two persons were injured after a Tata Sumo skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in the Ramsoo area of Ramban district on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 8 am on the Chaka Link Road when the vehicle reportedly lost control while negotiating a sharp turn and plunged down a hillside.
The driver, identified as Manzoor Ahmed, 35, died on the spot, while injured passengers were rescued and shifted for medical treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
