Srinagar, Feb 3 (GNS): Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar reviewed security situations in north Kashmir on Wednesday.
The top police officer of Kashmir along with DIG North Kashmir Range visited Handwara and Baramulla where he reviewed the security situations, anti- militancy operation and other crime-related works, official sources told GNS.
SSP Baramulla, Kupwara, Handwara and Sopore participated in the meeting and they briefed the IGP about present situation, the officials said.
The IGP also reviewed action plan and preparedness for summer and instructed the SSsP to focus on anti- narcotics action, they added. (GNS)
