Srinagar, Feb 01 (GNS): Government on Monday placed under suspension Abid Nabi Jr Cricket Coach under suspension for alleged misconduct even as it appointed Joint secretary (K) J&K sports council as an inquiry officer.
“Pending enquiry into his misconduct, Shri Abid Nabi Jr Cricket Coach is hereby placed under suspension in terms of provisions of J&K classification control and Appeal rules with immediate effect,” reads an order issued by Secretary J&K sports council. “The suspendee (Abid) is attached with divisional sports officer(K) J&K sports Council. Joint secretary (K) J&K sports council shall conduct enquiry and submit report within a period of 15 days,” the order added. (GNS)
