Among the banned products is Pomol-650, a paracetamol tablet manufactured by Aban Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. in Mysuru, and O Shanti Gold Class Kumkum, produced by N Ranga Rao & Sons Pvt. Ltd., also based in Mysuru. The list includes a range of injectable solutions, syrups, tablets, and even a veterinary vaccine component.

Other banned items include Compound Sodium Lactate Injection IP produced by Ultra Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. and Tom Bron Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Mitu Q7 Syrup by Bion Therapeutics, Pantocot-DSR capsules by Svefn Pharmaceuticals, and Sodium Chloride Injection IP 0.9% w/v by Puniska Injectables Pvt. Ltd.

Veterinary products such as sterile diluents for poultry vaccines by Safe Parenterals Pvt. Ltd., and various other formulations like Glimiz-2 (glimepiride tablets), Iron Sucrose Injection (Irogain), and Pyracid-O Suspension were also listed as unfit for use.

Officials have directed that these products should neither be used nor distributed until further instructions are issued. The circular urged healthcare providers, pharmacies, and the general public to ensure immediate compliance to safeguard public health.(HT)
