Kashmir Valley is likely to witness a prolonged spell of hot and dry weather during the final 9 days of August, with the heatwave conditions expected to begin around 23rd August.
Day temperatures are expected to rise significantly, with Srinagar city and several other areas potentially recording maximum temperatures of around 35–36°C or even higher.
Dry and hot weather is likely to dominate from 23rd August onwards, increasing the possibility of heatwave conditions across many parts of the Kashmir Valley.
