Srinagar, 08 Apr (GNS): A youth, who went missing from his home earlier this week, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in central-Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Official sources told Global News Service that the 21-year-old youth identified as Irfan Ahmad Dar, a resident of Bunpora Naugam, who was missing since April 4, was found dead by locals at Athwajan area this afternoon.
A police team was deputed to the spot to retrieve the body, the official said adding that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigations taken up in this regard.
Meanwhile the body was handed over to bereaved family on conduct of medico-legal formalities. (GNS)
