Baramulla, Aug 21: A motorcyclist was killed after his motorcycle collided with a truck in the Kanispora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the rider sustained injuries in the accident and was shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased was identified as Mudasir Rasool Ganai, son of Ghulam Rasool Ganai, a resident of Dangarpora, Sopore.
Meanwhile, police have taken up an investigation into the incident.—(KNO)
