Kupwara, Jun 3: Security forces Thursday recovered a 51 MM old rocket shell following which a BDS squad was called in to defuse the explosive at Warsun Kralpora area in this frontier district.
Official sources told GNS that the shell was found lying near Jamia Masjid this morning by a team. A team of Bomb Disposal Squad was called in, and the shell was defused smoothly.
Meanwhile a police official has confirmed to GNS that the explosive was defused without it causing any damage to anything or anyone. (GNS)
