Srinagar, Sep 10: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and district coordinator for Budgam, Aftab Ahmad Mir, passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest.
The demise of Mir has been condoled by senior PDP leaders, who expressed deep sorrow over his death and conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family. Party leaders described his passing as a loss to those associated with the organisation and extended their solidarity to the family during the difficult time.
PDP General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Hanjura and senior party leader Zaffar Mir Lasjan visited Mir’s residence at Charar-i-Sharief to offer condolences to the bereaved family. They expressed their grief over the sudden demise and shared the family’s sorrow.
During their visit, the party leaders prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Mir’s sudden death has also evoked condolences among PDP workers and associates, who remembered him in the wake of his untimely passing.
