Police in Kunzer Arrest 2 Persons Involved in Mobile Telephony Shop Burglary

Baramulla, Jan 25 (GNS): Police in Kunzer of this north-Kashmir district have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in burglery of a mobile telephony shop last week.

An official media handout by police, received by GNS, reads that ‘Police station Kunzar recieved a written complaint from one person namely Khalid Suhail Wani to the effect’ that, “During intervening night of 16/17 January 2021 some burglars had broken shutter of his shop and taken away/decamped with Mobiles of diffrent brands and cost, from his shop namely ‘Wani Sales Corporation’ Kunzar.”

On reciept of this complaint, as per the statement, an FIR Number 04/21 under sections 457, 380, 427 IPC was registered at Police station Kunzar.

“During the course of investigation two persons have been arrested and on their disclosure Mobile Phones/accessorries worth 1 lac approximately were recovered”, the statement maintains.

Identifying the accussed duo as; Ahsan Jeelani Reshi and Ishfaq Ahmad Reshi both residents of Gonipora, the statement states that both of them have been arrested.

The investigations were carried out by a team from Kunzar police station, led by Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad and the case being supervised by SDPO Tangmarg Hilal Khaliq.(GNS)
