Srinagar, Sep 4 (GNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday expelled a member from the basic membership of the party with immediate effect, citing his alleged involvement in anti-party activities and acts of indiscipline.
According to an order issued by PDP District President Ganderbal Zahoor Ahmad Rather, the action against the member, Kaiser Ahmad Ganie, was taken on the recommendation of the party’s constituency in-charge for Ganderbal, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Kangan constituency in-charge Syed Jamat Ali Shaheen and Zone President Ganderbal Mohd Yousuf Bhat.
The order, a copy of which lies with GNS, said Ganie would cease to be a member of the party with immediate effect. (GNS)
